WooCommerce Marketplace Booking Reservation System

WooCommerce  Marketplace Booking Reservation System: Using this extension, the sellers can add their own booking products and can update their products as well. The seller can add/edit booking product from their profile and add booking slots by two types “One Booking for Many days” and “Many Booking For One Day” and can make it disable also.

Similarly, the admin can also add/edit booking product from their profile and can add booking slots utilizing the available booking types.

Note: This extension is an add-on of the Marketplace Multi Vendor extension. You must have installed it before making use of the WooCommerce  Marketplace Booking Reservation System.

Features

  • The admin and sellers both can add bookable products and manage their respective slots.
  • Bookable Product type has been made available for creating the booking products.
  • The admin and Sellers both can edit products and create two types of bookings “One booking for many days” and “Many bookings for one day”.
  • The sellers can see all booked product history under their account.
  • The customers can check their booked products under their account panel.
  • The customers will have a panel on the product page from where they can book their booking as required.
  • The admin and the sellers can keep the slots as open or closed for particular time slots and particular days.
  • The admin & the sellers can edit slots and set the disable days for the booking product.

Installation Process

The user will get a zip file which he has to upload in the “Add New” menu option in the WordPress admin panel. For this login to WordPress Admin Panel and Under the Dashboard hover your mouse over the “Plugins” menu option which brings out a Sub-Menu and then select the “Add New” option.

Click on the option “Upload Plugin” on the top of your page to upload the zip file.

After clicking on the “Upload Plugin” option, below that you will see a button “Choose File” click on the button to browse for the zip file as per the snapshot below.

After browsing the file, click the “Install Now” button to install the plugin as per the snapshot.

Now when the plugin is installed correctly, you will see the success message and an option to activate the plugin. Click on “Activate Plugin” to activate the installed plugin.

Generate API Key – For Displaying Maps

    • Go to the Google Maps Platform
    • Tap ‘Get Started‘ on the top right-hand side.
    • Now, check all options – ‘Maps‘, ‘Routes‘ and ‘Places‘ and tap ‘Continue‘.
    • If you want to use an existing project, please select it from the list. Otherwise, select ‘Create a new project‘ and enter a project name.
  • Create Billing Account.
  • Now, tap ‘Next‘ to continue and complete the steps.
  • Click ‘Next‘ to enable the APIs for the selected project.
  • lastly, you need to copy the generated API key within the settings sub-menu option under the WC Marketplace Booking System.

Seller’s End – Workflow

After the successful installation of the extension, the sellers will have these 3 menu options under their account panel –

Add New Booking Product

To add a new booking product the seller needs to navigate to Products->Add Product.

Here, the seller needs to tap on the Add Product button. This brings up a section to add a new product. Here, select the –

  • Product Category for the Booking Product.
  • Bookable Product under the Product type and tap the Next button.

Taping the Next button brings up the section to add the product information.

Here, enter the information for the booking product that includes –

  • Product Name
  • Product Description
  • Product Thumbnail
  • Product SKU
  • Price
  • Short Description

lastly, tap the Save button and this brings this section to set up the booking information for this product. So, navigate to the Booking Tab.

Here, the seller needs to –

  • Select a Booking Type as – ‘Many Booking in a Day‘.
  • Set the Booking Status as – Enabled.
  • Select the Start Date and End Date for the booking product.
  • Enter the Booking Stock Per Slot.
  • Enter the Location for the Booking(gets auto detected using Google Maps API key).
  • Set the span of the booking time slot.
  • Enter Break Time Between Bookings for the product.
  • Create the Start and End time for the slots.
  • Choose to make the slots closed for particular days by choosing the status as closed else select them as Open.

Lastly, tap the Update button and the booking product is ready for use at the frontend.

Booking Type – Many Bookings In A Day(Frontend View)

Now, the booking product will be visible at the webstore frontend.

The customers can select the date by taping the date section.

Available slots can easily be chosen for the selected date by the customers.

The quantity for the selected slots can be set by the customer.

The location of the event can be checked by tapping on the location link and under the booking product you can see the exact location of the event.

Example: Booking Type – One Booking For Many Days Seller’s End.

To add a new booking product the seller needs to navigate to Products->Add Product.

Here, the seller needs to tap on the Add Product button. This brings up a section to add a new product. Here, select the –

  • Product Category for the Booking Product.
  • Bookable Product under the Product type and tap the Next button.

Taping the Next button brings up the section to add the product information.

Here, enter the information for the booking product that includes –

  • Product Name
  • Product Description
  • Product Thumbnail
  • Product SKU
  • Price
  • Short Description

lastly, tap the Save button and this brings this section to set up the booking information for this product. So, navigate to the Booking Tab.

lastly, tap the Update button and the booking product is ready for use at the frontend.

Also, remember to make the product status as live to enable at the frontend.

 

Booking Type – One Booking For Many Days (Frontend View)

Now, the booking product will be visible at the webstore frontend along with the Price, Location, and the Booking Information.

The customers can select the date by taping the date section.

Available slots can easily be chosen for the selected date by the customers. Here, the slot starts from the 9th of the April 20019 to 10th of April 2019.

The quantity for the selected slots can be set by the customer.

The location of the event can be checked by tapping on the location link and under the booking product you can see the exact location of the event.

Seller’s – Booking Management

After the seller creates the booking products, all of the booking products are visible under the Manage Booking section.

Here, the seller can –

  • Edit Slots for booking products
  • Manage Orders for the created products

Edit Slots

To reach the Edit Slots section for a booking product, tap the Edit Slots under the Action column for the respective product. Here, the seller can make the available slots as Open or Closed and tap the Update Status button to make the changes.

Navigate to the Disable Days tab. Here, the seller can also make the Days as Disabled for a particular booking. The seller can choose Closed From and Close Till Dates.

The seller can easily add more disable days and can remove the same as required. From the same section, the seller can navigate to the actual product by tapping the Edit Product button a the top right-hand side.

Manage Orders

Tap the Manage Orders button at the top right-hand side of the main Manage Booking section to manage the orders and it brings the section visible below.

Here, the seller can navigate to the actual booking product, check the bookings for a particular booking product by tapping the Booking link visible under the Action column.

Tapping the Booking link for the respective Booking Product brings up all the order for that particular booking product. Here, the seller can tap the Order ID to reach the particular order and the seller can complete the order.

Admin’s End – Workflow

ExampleBooking Type – Many Booking In One Day (Back end)

The admin will be able to add the booking product by navigating through Products->Add New.

Here, the admin creates a booking product by selecting the appropriate product information that includes –

  • Booking Product Name
  • Selecting the Product Data as – Bookable Product
  • Choosing the product type as Virtual
  • Setting up the Price of the booking product

After setting up the appropriate product information, navigate to the Booking menu option on the left-hand side.

Here, the admin needs to –

  • Select a Booking Type as – ‘One Booking For Many Day‘.
  • Set the Booking Status as – Enabled.
  • Select the Start Date and End Date for the booking product.
  • Enter the Booking Stock Per Slot.
  • Enter the Location for the Booking(gets auto detected using Google Maps API key).
  • Set the Booking Time Slot.
  • Enter the Break Time between bookings.
  • Set the span of the booking time slot by creating the Start Day, Start Time and End Day, End Time.

lastly, save the product and the booking product is ready for use at the frontend.

The admin will be able to add the booking product by navigating through Products->Add New.

Booking Type – One Booking For Many Day (Frontend View)

Now, the booking product will be visible at the webstore frontend.

The customers can select the date by taping the date section. The available dates are displayed according to the slots created. The admin has created slots that are valid for 2 days each. The slots start from MonTue, WedThurs, FriSat then again repeat as on Sun we have not created a slot so it’s not available.

Available slots can easily be chosen for the available dates by the customers.

After selecting the slot, the quantity for the selected slots can be set by the customer.

The location of the event can be checked by tapping on the location link and under the booking product you can see the exact location of the event.

Admin’s – Booking Management

The admin will have the WC Marketplace Booking System with 3 sub-menu options –

  • Booking Product
  • Booking Orders
  • Settings

Booking Products

Under this section, the admin of the WooCommerce marketplace web store will be able to find all the created booking products listed.

Here, the admin will be able to –

  • Edit a booking product by tapping the Edit button.
  • Edit slots for the respective booking product.

Tapping the Edit Slots button brings up the section to set the created slots as open or close and to disable the Days. For the slots, the admin can set the available slots as open or closed as required and the same would reflect on the frontend as well.

Under Disable Days, the admin can set the days as closed as per the need. The admin can choose to disable the days by selecting the Closed From and Till date. To disable a particular date, select the same closed from and closed till date. The admin can also add multiple disable days as required.

Booking Orders

Under this section, the admin can find all the booking products listed and can check all the bookings that are made for a particular booking product. The admin can also delete all the booking products listed under this section by mass selecting the products and then choosing the delete option from the Actions drop-down menu.

To check, tap the Bookings Link under the Actions column to check all the bookings made for the respective booking product. The orders can be completed by the admin by navigation to the default Orders section.

Settings

Under this section, the admin need to enter the Google Maps API so as to display the location Map at the frontend to the customers.

Customer’s Workflow

Customers can see the booking products at the webstore frontend with all the product details. Here, the customer is able to see the booking product details that include –

  • Booking Product Name
  • Location of the booking product(Tap it to view the location on Google Map)
  • Booking Information for the particular booking product
  • Book Now button to add the product to cart for checkout.

After adding the product to the cart, the customer can see the details of the booking product within the shopping cart as well.

After tapping the Proceed to checkout button, the customer will see the checkout page. Here, the customer will check the billing, order details, and tap the Place order button to place the order.

Lastly, the customer can check the Order Received details.

 

The customer can also check the details of the placed order by navigating to the Orders menu option the under their account panel.

 

The customers will find the details of the booking product with details of the slots booked. The customers can also see the booking from Date, Time and the Booking Till Date and Time.
