Prestashop WhatsApp Support and Share

With the help of Prestashop WhatsApp Support and Share, admin can chat with the customer on WhatsApp. This module lets admin create a strong relationship with his customers by giving them the support when they need it. A customer can easily chat with admin just by clicking on a support button. Order sharing functionality on WhatsApp with the help of which more traffic can be generated on the website.

Features

  • Admin can choose to display his WhatsApp number at the Front End.
  • Admin can enable or disable the display of support button at Front End.
  • Admin can display the support button at different positions on website i.e Header, contact us page, order history page, bottom left and bottom right.
  • Admin can enter text with support button in multiple languages.
  • Admin can add support agents with whom customers can chat on WhatsApp web.
  • Admin can edit or delete the support agents.
  • Admin can enable or disable the support agents on the website.
  • Admin can also add the support groups with whom customers can chat on the website.
  • Admin can edit or delete the support groups.
  • Admin can enable or disable support groups on the website.
  • Admin can display WhatsApp share button at multiple positions on the website i.e Product Page, Order Confirmation Page and Order History Page.

Installation

  1. Go to the back  office-> modules -> Upload a module
  2. Upload the module zip file
  3. The module will automatically get installed on your Prestashop.

Module Configuration

After the successful installation of the module, admin can configure Prestashop WhatsApp Support and Share by clicking on “CONFIGURE” button.

Now under “CONFIGURATION” admin has to configure the module settings as shown below:

1. Basic Configuration

  • Admin WhatsApp Phone number – In this field, admin has to enter his WhatsApp phone number.
  • Display Phone number – Admin has to decide whether he wants his phone number to be displayed on the website or not.
  • Display floating support button in bottom – If enabled then a support button will be visible to the customers on the bottom of the website.

  • Text with floating support button – In this field, admin has to enter the text which will be visible inside support button to the customers on the website.

 

  • Floating support button position – In this field, admin has to decide whether he wants to show the floating support button at bottom-right of bottom left of the website.

when a customer clicks on the support button, he gets redirected to WhatsApp web where he has to scan the code from his phone.

When the scanning gets complete, then a customer will be able to chat with admin on WhatsApp as shown below:

 

Adding Support Agents 

In PrestaShop WhatsApp Support and Share, admin can add the support agents by navigating through Manage Support->Support Agent.

 

 

Under “Support Agent”, admin can view name, WhatsApp phone number, image, and Id of a support agent. Admin can enable or disable a support agent on the website. Admin can edit the details of a support agent by clicking on “Edit” button. Admin can also delete a support agent.

Admin can add a new support agent by clicking on “Add new user”.

Admin can add a support agent by entering his WhatsApp phone number, image, name and short description.Admin can decide whether to display support agent’s number on the website or not.

Front End View

A customer can view support agent details by clicking on WhatsApp support button on the website.

when a customer clicks on the support agent button, he gets redirected to WhatsApp web where he has to scan the code from his phone.

When the scanning gets complete, then a customer will be able to chat with a support agent on WhatsApp as shown below:

 

Support Group

In PrestaShop WhatsApp Support and Share, admin can add the support groups by navigating through Manage Support->Support Group.

 

Under “Support Group”, admin can view name, Group Id, and image of a support agent. Admin can enable or disable a support group on the website. Admin can edit the details of a support group by clicking on “Edit” button. Admin can also delete a support group.

Admin can add a new support group by clicking on “Add new group”.

Admin can add a support group by entering support group’s name, image,  short description, Id, and users.

Front End View

A customer can view support group’s details by clicking on WhatsApp support button on the website.
