“You can’t sell anything, if you can’t tell anything”, following “Beth Comstock”, we have come up with this module which allows you to send newsletter to your valuable customers, tell them about the latest offers, new updates, also Send your best wishes on their birthdays, such newsletters connects them with you and acknowledge your services. Newsletter is considered to be a most inexpensive source of marketing which reaches the masses in a single click. Admin can send newsletter or promotional mails easily by setting a cron scheduler, even festive offer mails can be created at a time and future date can be set to send them. A value added feature is to send a sign up mail to every customer on their registered email address when they sign up. Customers can subscribe to newsletter during sign up and can also register later. Customers can also unsubscribe it in a single click.

Workflow
There under odoo settings you will find a menu of webkul website addons, open this menu and click on the newsletter configurations, a pop will appear where you can active the automatic email scheduler, do the cron settings, set the time interval for cron scheduler. A value added feature of sending sign up mail to your customer is also available, check this option to send “Thank you” mail for sign up to your customers, also select the sign up mail template here. Another main feature of this module is to send subscription mail, check this option to send mail when subscribed, also select an email template for the same.
Customer can subscribe to your newsletter during sign up.
In the top menu you will find newsletter option, click on the newsletter set up to create newsletters. Click on create news letter, a new page will appear for settings.
Here admin can select an email template to be sent to the subscribers. Select the send date, it can be a future date. Admin can check the status of a newsletter sent, whether it is in draft state, confirmed to be sent, cancelled or sent. Admin can reactive the cancelled newsletter. Admin can also send a newsletter to the subscribers manually by clicking on the send button.
Under newsletter you can find a menu of subscriber, where you can find the list of subscribers. Apply filter to see active subscribers. Click on any subscriber to see his details for the newsletter sent.
In detailed view of subscriber, you can find his subscription date, subscription status, email address and the newsletters sent so far.
