OpenERP: Reports per Shop:

If you are currently operating multiple shops in OpenERP, then you have certainly come across a situation when you wished to be able to print  custom reports per shops. But unfortunately OpenERP does not provides any option to print custom reports in view part for printing custom reports in accordance with shops in OpenERP(We need to put the custom header/footer in the rml and it`s very paiful). If it is so, then our module ‘Reports per Shop’  is all what you need. This module provides you the option to print custom reports per shops, which means now you can print different invoices for each shop having different Shop logo, header and footer.

Important Features:

• Option to create a Custom Header, Footer, Logo for each OpenERP Shop separately,
• All reports such as quotation, customer invoices, delivery orders, related to openERP Shop will be generated with same header, footer, logo of the custom OpenERP shop chosen.

Installation:

‘Reports per Shop’  is a pair of openERP module, which enables you to print custom reports per shop. You just need to install the module and do the configuration for each shops for custom logo, header, footer.

For installation copy the module named ‘wk_report_per_shop’ and ‘wk_shop_customized’ to your openERP addons directory. After uploading the module in addons directory click on ‘Upgrade Module List’. After this go to the ‘Installed Module’ menu and remove the ‘installed’ filter and search for ‘wk’. You will get the two newly added module. Install these modules one by one.

Once you have install the module, a new menu named ‘Custom Header/Footer’ will be added into the ‘Configuration’ menu. Here you can create a custom header/footer for each shop. After creating a custom header/footer you can select a custom header/footer for each shop separately.

Creating a Custom Header and Footer:

For creating a custom header/footer go to the menu ‘Settings’, and under the ‘Configuration’ menu you will find the ‘Custom Header/Footer’ menu. Click on this and create a new custom header/footer.

Creating a Custom Header:

By default four templates have been given for setting up the header for different page layouts. You can select the template of your desired layout and you can also modify the template according to your requirement.

Also fill in the other necessary field required for creating a custom configuration like shop name, logo, etc.

Creating a Custom Footer:

If you have filled in the general information for a shop, then footer will automatically be generated on the basis of those values filled in. However you have option to customize this footer also. Just enable the ‘Custom Footer’  field, and then you can edit the footer also.

After configuring the header and footer you can also preview, how the page layout looks like with custom configuration. For this Just click on the ‘Preview Header/Footer’ button.

Working Of the Module:

Once all the configuration part is done we can move on to test the functioning of the module. Create a new sale order and select the openERP shop, for which custom header/footer has been created.

Once the sale order is confirmed click on the ‘print’ button to see the sale quotation.

Now all other reports such as Customer Invoices, delivery orders will also be generated with the custom header and footer selected for each openERP shop. The reports will look like:
