A price is controlled by production costs, the supply of the desired item, and demand for the product. Price is the total of all the values that a customer gives up to gain the advantages of having or using a product or service.

Shopware Price Management – In Shopware there are two type of price for product and separate customer groups.

  • Default price
  • Pseudo price

Default Price

The default price is the basic price for each item. A price is managed by production costs, the supply of the desired item, and demand for the product

Pseudo price

The pseudo price appears small and crossed out above the actual price of the item. Create a “pseudo price”, which is displayed in the frontend with a line through it. Pseudo price labels like “instead of 19.99£ RRP”.

How to manage the pseudo price using PIM?

Using Akeneo PIM you can Connect your Shopware store with Akeneo and can manage pseudo price with Shopware Akeneo Connector – https://webkul.com/blog/shopware-akeneo-connector/

In this, you can add different CustomerGroup accordingly you can set there price.

After mapping the price in Akeneo PIM you can export the price with PIM to your Shopware Store
