Odoo Website Portal Account Access

Odoo Website Portal Account Access Module provides access to admin to manage the customer website portal on their behalf. Admin can easily switch from the admin account to the Customer account.

The module facilitates the authorized Odoo user to access the customers’ website account portal from Odoo backend. He has the right to manage the task of the customer such as placing an order, fixing bugs, printing invoices, rectifying issues, etc on demand.

Features

  1. The module facilitates the authorized Odoo user to access the customers’ website account portal from Odoo backend.
  2. The user can place orders and print invoices on customers’ behalf through their website account.
  3. The user can switch from Odoo backend admin account to a website customer account with a click and vice versa.
  4. Only those Odoo users who are authorized by the admin can access the customers’ accounts.

INSTALLATION

  1. Once you purchase the Module from Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.
  2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- ‘website_portal_account_access’.
  3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
  4. Now, open the Odoo and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode. One can also activate the developer mode by typing ‘debug’ after ‘web?’ in the URL.
  5. Then, open on the Apps menu and click on the ‘Update Modules List’.
  6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘website_portal_account_access’.
  7. You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

WORKFLOW

1) Firstly, log in to your Odoo database then go to the website module.

2)  Under Setting, click on User option and grant access to User to view customer account on demand.

3) Now, Under Sales click on the customer tab and Choose the customer.

4)  You can access the accounts of your customers directly on Clicking ‘Go To Website Account’.

5)You are in the Customer account. Now you can manage the task of the customer such as placing an order, fixing bugs, etc.
