Booking App for Shopify: Create Bookings

Shopify store admin panel>>Visit “Product” Section>>Select any product (or add new Product and “Save” it)>>Click “More Action”>>click “Booking Product” from drop down.

Now, select a variant & proceed to fill the booking product information>>”Save” the details.

Once done, you can auto-inject the codes & enable your customers to book any of those products simply by choosing their preferable slots, date, and timezone.

In Booking app, You can create bookings for multiple scenarios using any of the 6 booking types available in the app. 

In this manual, we will understand how to create bookings using all the six booking types separately. Let’s proceed to explore bookings.

Steps to Create a One-day Booking:

• Step 1: Go to the Products section of your Shopify store. Select a product & click on Booking Product button in the Action menu.
• 2 Step: Select a variant, if required & proceed to fill additional details of the product such as Single-user or Multi-user booking & service location.
• Step 3: Select the Booking type as “One-day booking” & select a duration when you want the bookings to be available for your customers.
• Step 4: Add custom information in case you want to display some required information about your bookings & add custom fields to take some additional info from customers.

This way, you can add one day booking to products.

Once you add one day booking on the product using the app, you need to do some code pasting in order to visualize the effect on the storefront. 

Visit the Configure Front section & add the codes to their respective liquid files. You can inject the codes both ways either automatically or manually.

Steps to create Appointment Type booking:

• Step 1: Go to the Products section of your Shopify store. Select a product & click on Booking Product button in the Action menu.
• Step 2: Select a variant, if required & proceed to fill additional details of the product such as Single-user or Multi-user booking & service location.
• Step 3: Select the Booking type as “Appointment Type”. Select a duration when you want the bookings to be available for your customers & Create slot timings for specific days.
• Step 4: Add custom information in case you want to display some required information about your bookings & add custom fields to take some additional info from customers.

This way, you can add appointment type booking to products.

Once you add appointment type booking on the product using the app, you need to do some code pasting in order to visualize the effect on the storefront.

Visit the Configure Front section & add the codes to their respective liquid files. You can inject the codes both ways either automatically or manually.

After injecting the codes, that is how the appointment type bookings will appear on the store front end.

Steps to create Rent Type booking:

• Step 1: Go to the Products section of your Shopify store. Select a product & click on Booking Product button in the Action menu.
• Step 2: Select a variant, if required & proceed to fill additional details of the product such as Single-user or Multi-user booking & service location.
• Step 3: Select the Booking type as “Rent Type”. Select a date range when you want the bookings to be available for rent.
• Step 4: Add custom information in case you want to display some required information about your bookings & add custom fields to take some additional info from customers.

Once you add Rent Type booking on the product using the app, you need to do some code pasting in order to visualize the effect on the storefront.

• Step 3: Select the Booking type as “Concert Type with time”. Add Day-wise slots for the customers
• Step 4: Add custom information in case you want to display some required information about your bookings & add custom fields to take some additional info from customers.

Now, to visualize the effect the bookings on your website front end, you need to add the codes to their respective liquid files. The same will be instructed in the Configure Front section of the booking app.
