Introduction
Sometimes it is hectic for the customers to filter the selective products from a large number of the products listing. Hence, Sorting is the process where you can sort the products in order of the price from cheapest to most expensive, product brand and many other ways.
Some websites like Flipkart, Amazon, Myntra, Bevkoof.com, Jabong, Snapdeal etc offers Sort and Filter option on their websites so that user can filter and sort products according to their preference.
Generally, in POS, there are no advanced options like Sort/Order to arrange the products systematically. To avoid this problem, introducing you with our module Odoo POS Advanced Product Ordering/ Odoo POS Advanced Sorting which allows you to sort/order products according to the creation date, product pricing, etc at any time on the running session.
Thus, sorting of products is done according to the alphabetical order, Creation Date, Product Price etc in POS session.
Features
- POS user can sort the products according to the alphabetical order
- It allows the POS user to arrange the product price in ascending/descending order.
- It provides a feature to order/sort the product according to “Sale Count” which shows the highest sale count of the product at POS interface.
- Displays “New” tag for the products those are created after the selected creation date, configured at the backend.
Working of the Module
Let’s just take the brief of the working of the module.
Sorting basically means an arrangement of products in alphabetical order, according to the price of the product(from cheapest to most expensive), according to the creation date of the products and many other ways.
Configuration
Set the backend configuration in POS session by clicking on“Point of Sale” tab then under configuration menu click on “Point of Sale” submenu and then hit on MAIN.
The drop-down menu shows various options to order/sort the products. Choose any of the option to sort/order your products accordingly.
Select the “Sale count” option from the drop-down menu. This will arrange your products according to their highest sale.
From the drop-down menu, select “Creation Date” option to arrange the products according to their creation date.
Select“PRICE ASC”option to arrange the product price in ascending order.
Now select the option “PRICE DESC” will arrange your product price in descending order.
From the drop-down menu, select the option “A-Z” option to arrange the products in serial alphabetical order.
Now at last, select the “Z-A” option to arrange your products in alphabetical order.
