Odoo POS Multiple Receipts

INTRODUCTION

In Point of sale sometimes user wishes to generate multiple receipts for a particular order. The reason behind this is either user want to keep one copy of the receipt with him. Also, if printers are connected at different locations then the user wants to print the receipt simultaneously from all the locations. So in order to deal with this concern, we have introduced our module named- “Odoo POS Multiple Receipt.”
Odoo POS Multiple Receipts is a module which allows the user to print multiple receipts of an order in Point of Sale Session. It also displays the status of all additional printers, whether they are connected or disconnected to the particular POS session.

FEATURES

  • A seller can print more than one receipt from the main printer.
  • The first receipt will be original receipt and other receipts will be duplicate receipts.
  • A seller can add multiple printers located at the different location to print multiple receipts.
  • It displays the status of all additional printers (connected or disconnected) in the running POS session.
  • No complex back end configuration

INSTALLATION

After buying this product you will get a zip file, which contains module. Unzip the file and now just copy ‘POS Multiple Receipt’ module folder into your Odoo add-ons. Now enable developers mode on your Odoo.

  • Go to settings menu and Click on Activate the developer mode.
  • Now Go to Apps menu and Click on ‘Update Modules List
  • Remove the Apps filter

Now you will be able to see the module, just install it. After installing you will be able to handle different functionality as mentioned in module’s Workflow

BACK END CONFIGURATION

Go to-Point of Sale >under Configuration >Point of Sale. Enable “Allow Multiple Receipt Printers” field.

A seller can print multiple receipts from the main printer by entering the number of receipts, he wishes to print.

Also a user can configure and add multiple printers to the current Point of Sale for generating duplicate receipts.

 

POS VIEW

In Point of Sale, you can check the status of all the additional printers whether they are connected or not.

On clicking the “Connection icon” the list of all the additional printer will appear and you can check the status of each printer. Also, a POS User can reconnect the disconnected printers by clicking on the printer icon.

When all printers are connected to the Point of Sale then the display will appear as shown in below-
