Prestashop Marketplace Zipcode Validator – With this module the products availability at a location can be searched through the zip code. Now, the customer can see if the product is available for shipping at a specific location or not. Seller can set availability for its products according to zipcodes.
Customer can just enter the zipcode and check the availability of product to make the order process simpler and provide accurate information preventing the customers from delivery issues. This helps to increase the customer satisfaction which results in more sales on your site.
Note : This module is an add-on for Marketplace Module. To use this module, you first have to install Prestashop Advanced Marketplace
Features
- Product availability can be checked through zip code.
- Seller can add default zip code availability that will be applicable on all the products of that seller.
- Seller can add zipcode availablility product wise individually.
- Seller can add zipcode availablility for a combination of a product.
- Both Global/Product Zipcode can be added by CSV file upload feature.
- Customer can enter their zipcode on the product page itself to check its availability.
- Seller can activate/deactivate already assigned zipcodes.
Installation
For installing Marketplace Zipcode Validator module you need to install Marketplace 5.0.x module first.
After installing marketplace module, you can start the installation of Prestashop Marketplace Zipcode Validator module
- Go to the back office-> modules -> Upload a module
- Upload zip file of Zipcode Validator module
- The module will automatically get installed on your Prestashop

Seller End
A new tab gets added in seller account.
Seller will set the Default zipcode availability for all products. Seller can select whether the products (which are not added in the database) will be available on all the zipcodes or not.
NOW We shall see how the zipcodes are added Globally/Product-wise.
Through Global zipcode seller can add the zipcode that would be associated with all the products globally.
Seller can click on “Add Global zipcode” in order to add zipcodes.
Seller can add multiple zipcodes at a time using the CSV upload functionality
If seller wants to add a CSV file for the zip code then first column name would be for ‘zipcode’ in which the zipcode would be written. The second column would be ‘active’, showing whether the product is available on the zipcode or not. You can use only two values for the active column, ie. 0 and 1.
0 denotes that the zipcode is not active
1 denotes that the zipcode is active
CSV File Format:
Seller can create a CSV file as per the format provided and you need to save the file with “.csv” extension. This way ‘global zipcode’ can be added.
Seller can add zipcodes manually one by one :
Seller can add Global zipcodes one by one manually if not using the CSV upload functionality
Seller can find the list of Global zipcodes added.
- Seller can change the availability setting for any particular zipcode.
- Seller can edit/delete the zipcode added.
This is how seller adds Global Zipcode for all the products listed on its shop.
Through Product zipcode seller can add the zipcode that would be associated with a particular product.
Seller can click on “Add Product zipcode” in order to add zipcodes.
Seller can add multiple zipcodes at a time using the CSV upload functionality as well as can enter zipcodes Manually one by one just like global zipcode.
Note – the zipcode can be set as per product combination.
Seller can find the list of Product zipcodes added.
- Seller can view the zipcode set on any particular product.
- Seller can delete the zipcode added.
Suppose a seller has set zipcode for combinations of a product (say : Test Product 2), On viewing this product, seller will be able to see a list of combinations of Test Product 2 on which product zipcodes are added.
- Seller can view the zipcode set on any particular combination of the product.
- Seller can delete the zipcode added.
Seller can view a particular combination to find the list of zipcodes added for that particular product combination.
- Seller can change the availability setting for any particular zipcode.
- Seller can edit/delete the zipcode added.
This is how seller adds Product Zipcode for the products listed on its shop
Front End
On front end user can search the product availability through zipcode.
This is how sellers can provide an easy functionality to its customers to check the product availability to their address.
