The extension Opencart Product Size Chart allows the admin to easily create a size chart for their products. The size chart can be referenced by the customers to identify their accurate size. Installation – Opencart Product Size Chart
Installation of Opencart Product Size Chart for Opencart is very simple. After extracting the zip file, choose your Opencart Version Folder and in that, you will find folders admin, catalog, and ocmod folders. Now copy the admin and catalog folders into the root directory of your Opencart website.
Once you have copied the folders in the previous step, then login to admin and from the main menu go to Extensions->Extension installer and upload the XML file. The XML file can be found inside the ocmod folder of the downloaded zip file. Please choose the correct Opencart Version Folder.
After uploading the sizechart.ocmod.xml file, go to the Extensions > Modification and click on the refresh button.
After that in Admin panel go to System -> Users -> Usergroup and edit ‘Administrator’ and click on select all for both Access and Modify Permission and save it.
Now, under Extension ->Modules install the Size Chart Module. Click on the install button to install the module. To edit and configure the module click the edit button.

Configuration – Opencart Product Size Chart
After clicking on the edit button, another page to configure the Opencart Size chart module will open. Here the admin will find two menu tabs – Module Configuration and Size chart List.
The admin can enable or disable the module for use.
For the first-time users, this section will be as blank. You can add any number of size charts, edit and delete them as per your need.
To add a size chart click the “Add” button after which another page opens up as shown below in the snapshot.
Here the admin will enter –
- Sizechart Name( the name for the Size chart should always be unique).
- Sizechart Code(to uniquely identify the size chart).
- Sizechart Options(enter the options separated by comma).
After this, the admin will click the “Create Options” to enter the options and the corresponding values. You can also add multiple numbers of options or delete them as per your need. Lastly, click the save button on the top right-hand side to save the configuration.
Workflow – Opencart Product Size Chart
The admin will navigate to Catalog -> Products. Here the admin will be able to add the size chart to a new product or an existing product.
To add the size chart to an existing product, edit the product. and go to the menu tab Sizechart. Here, from the drop-down select the name of the Size chart to apply for this product and then click the save button to save the configuration.
On the front-end, a customer can see the “SizeChart Help” button on the product page as per the below snapshot.
Tapping the “SizeChart Help” button will bring the pop-up showing the size chart for the product.
