WordPress WooCommerce Marketplace Web Push Notification Plugin allows the seller to send push notification messages to subscribed users. Web push notifications are messages that come from a website. You get them on your desktop or device even when the concerned web page is not open in your browser. They are new marketing channel to re-engage your visitors without knowing their email or other contact details.

WordPress WooCommerce Marketplace Web Push Notification Plugin is an add-on of WordPress WooCommerce Multi Vendor Marketplace Plugin. To use this plugin you must have installed first WordPress WooCommerce Multi Vendor Marketplace Plugin.

Installation
The user will get a zip file which he has to upload in the “Add New” menu option in the WordPress admin panel. For this login to WordPress Admin Panel and Under the Dashboard hover your mouse over the “Plugins” menu option which brings out a Sub-Menu and then select the “Add New” option.
After this, you will see an option on the top of your page that is “Upload Plugin”, click the option to upload the zip file.
After clicking on the “Upload Plugin” option, below that you will see a button “Choose File” click on the button to browse for the zip file as per the snapshot below.
After browsing the file, click the “Install Now” button to install the plugin as per the snapshot.
Now when the plugin is installed correctly, you will see the success message and an option to activate the plugin. Click on “Activate Plugin” to activate the installed plugin.
Creating Firebase Project Credentials
To use this plugin, you must have Firebase Project Credentials. Firebase Project Credentials are required to configure this plugin. Please click here to create a new project with your Gmail account.
1. After opening Firebase page. Please click “CREATE NEW PROJECT” button as shown in the below screenshot.
2. A small pop-up window will appear with the name of Create a project. Here you have to enter your Project Name and then select your Country/Region.
3. After completing the details click “CREATE PROJECT” button.
4. After creating your new project click Settings menu icon. And then select “Project Settings” option. A new Settings page will open as displayed below.
5. After entering the Settings page, you will find your Project ID and Web API Key. Copy and save your Project ID and Web API Key as displayed below.
6. After that, click “CLOUD MESSAGING” tab. From here you will find your Project Credentials. Copy and save your Server Key and Sender ID as displayed below.
From here you will find all the details and credentials to configure WordPress Woocommerce Web Push Notification plugin.
Configuration
Admin can configure this plugin with the help of collected credentials under “Marketplace Push Notifications > Settings”. Here admin needs to enter all the credentials which are collected from Firebase as below image.
After that admin can configure auto notification options under “Marketplace Push Notifications > Options.”
Here admin can select check boxes as per the requirement.
Check “A new product is published” to auto notify subscribers for every new product.
Check “A new blog is published” to auto notify subscribers for every new blog.
Check “A new blog is published” to auto notify subscriber for every new page.
Admin-end Workflow
Seller-End Workflow
After successful installation and configuration of the plugin, the seller of the marketplace can create new notification through his seller panel under “Push Notification > New Notification”. To create a new notification a seller just need to enter the title of the notification, the message of the notification, redirect URL of notification and image of the notification as below image.
A seller can view the complete history of created notifications under “Push Notification > Notification History”. The seller also able to delete an old notification from the history by clicking on Delete button.
Subscriber-end Workflow
When a new user visits first time on the website then he/she can subscribe for notifications through a pop-up message on top of their browser window. This pop-up message will ask users to show notifications from your website, the users will have to click either Allow or Block option. A user can also change the permissions of notification as per the below image.
A user will be notified for new notification of website as shown in below image.
