Introduction
Odoo Website Birthday Reminder module allows to send birthday greetings to customers on their birthday. Admin can set cron scheduler settings which helps to send birthday greetings automatically to customer. Odoo Website Birthday Reminder also has feature to send greetings few days before the date of birth. Using module you can selectively send birthday greetings so either it can be for all customers or only to the portal users.
Features
- Module is used to send birthday greetings to the Users.
- Has the option of selecting the Users(All users/Portal users).
- It helps to automate process using Cron Scheduler.
- Admin can modify the email template and cron scheduler.
- Greetings can be sent before the actual date.
Workflow
Once Odoo Website Birthday Reminder module is installed, Under Settings menu> reminder click on Birthday reminder. Now define Event name, Select to whom you want to send the greetings, enable/disable the reminder option, define the particular email template which you want to send, define the number of days before you want to send the greetings. Once done with defining all selective field you can save the settings, by clicking on save button.
Click on Email template field, it will redirect to template page. Now, define the template name, select to whom it will apply, define content to be sent, email configuration and advanced settings. Once done click on save button.
Likewise for Cron settings, click on Cron Scheduler field which will redirect to cron settings window. Now, define desired cron interval number, cron next execution date, interval units and number of calls. Once done click on save button.
