Marketplace Request for Leads Quote

This is an amazing magento marketplace add-on which allows customers to send a request for quote to all the sellers of the website. Using this add-on, the customer can still send a request for quote even if the product does not exist in the marketplace. The admin can set the minimum quantity limit for the request quote from the back-end. The admin has an option to manage all the quote requests before forwarding them to the sellers.

Please Note – Since this is a marketplace add-on, you need to install Magento Marketplace Multi-Vendor Module first.

features

  • Allow customer to request for quote for any product whether it exists or not.
  • Send requested quoted mail to all seller.
  • Allow customer and seller to communicate about requested quote from their dashboard.
  • Allow customer and seller to attach sample images with their response if necessary.
  • Display requested quotes by status like pending, open, resolved, closed.

 

installation

Installation of the module is very simple. You need to move the app and skin folder into magento root directory.

After moving both the folder flush the cache from magento admin module.
Under System > Cache management.

 

module translation

After the module installation, the user will unzip the folder and click on src folder. Inside that folder, you will find app folder. Click on the app folder and you will get locale and inside that you will find the language folder in English language as en_US. Now follow the same path and open the locale folder where you have installed the Magento Marketplace and go inside the locale folder and create a new folder and name with the language for which you want to convert your module content. Now edit the translate.csv and then upload to your server inside the locale folder.

Before uploading the CSV file, open and edit it with the translated keywords. Please check the below image for the better understanding.

After successfully installing this add-on, the admin should navigate to System > Configuration > Request For Quote. Here the admin has to do the configuration of this module. Please refer to the screenshot below:

Request for Quote Approval – Here select Yes option to require the admin’s approval to send the request for quote to the sellers. Select No, if you want to send the request for quote directly to the sellers.

Minimum Quantity for ‘Request for Quote’ – Enter the minimum quantity limit for sending the request for quote.

Click Save Config button to save your changes.

 

Manage Requested Quotes

To view the requested quotes sent by the customers, please navigate to Marketplace Management > Manage Requested Quotes. On this page, the admin can view all the requests for quote received. The admin can also use filter button to search any specific request for quote. To send a quote to the sellers, please select the request using the checkbox option and then go to Actions drop-down menu and select the Send Quote to Sellers option.

Click Submit button to send the quote to the sellers. Please refer to the screenshot below:

After logging into the seller account, it can view the requested quotes given by the customers by navigating to ACCOUNT > MY ACCOUNT > ALL REQUESTED QUOTES under Marketplace section. To search any specific request for quote use the search option as shown below. To view the request, click the VIEW link.

Here all the customers’ requests will be divided into five different statuses which are as follows:

Open – These are the requests where the customers are waiting for the seller’s reply.

Pending – These are the requests which have never been seen and replied by the seller.

Answered – These are the requests where the seller has replied to the customer and waiting for the reply.

Resolved – Theses are the requests where the customers have accepted the quotes given by the seller.

Closed – These are the requests which have been resolved by the different seller and closed for this seller.

To view pending requests for quotes click the Pending tab. A new page will open, where the seller can view the specific request for quote. The seller has to enter the Bulk Quoted Quantity and the Quoted Price, a message can be entered in the box. Click SEND MESSAGE button to send this quote to the customer.

 

Once the quote has been accepted and approved by the customer, the request status will be changed to Resolved.

To view the quotes that have been approved by the customer click the Resolved tab. Please refer from the screenshot below:

The registered users of the website can send a request for quote to the sellers by simply clicking on the REQUEST FOR QUOTE button on the product page. Please refer to the screenshot below.

 

After clicking the REQUEST FOR QUOTE button on the product page, you will see a new page. This is the Request for Quote page, here the customer can check the information about the product. The customer can enter the desired quantity that it wants. Any additional information can be entered by the customer in the description.

Click REQUEST FOR QUOTE button to send this request. A successful notification will appear on the screen.

Custom Product Request for Quote

If a customer wants to send a request for quote to the sellers and the product is not there on the website. The customer can navigate to ACCOUNT  > Request for Quote. A new page will open, here the customer can enter the details about the product. The customer has to enter the required quantity of the product, it can also upload any sample images. Please refer from the below screenshot:

Click REQUEST FOR QUOTE button to send this request. Please refer from the below screenshot:

A notification will appear after sending the request for quote successfully. Please see the screenshot below:

My Requested Quotes

The customer can view its requested quotes by navigating to ACCOUNT > MY ACCOUNT > MY REQUESTED QUOTES. On this page, the customer can view the information about all its request for quotes sent to the sellers. It can also find any specific request for quote using the search option. To view more detailed information about the request, click View. To see quote given by the sellers, click QUOTE BY SELLER link. Please refer from the screenshot below:

After clicking the View link, the customer will the detailed information about its requested quote. Please see the below screenshot:

Quotes by Sellers

To view the quotes given by the sellers please navigate to ACCOUNT > MY ACCOUNT > MY REQUESTED QUOTES and click QUOTE BY SELLER link. A new page will open, here the customer can view the quotes given by all the sellers. Please refer from the screenshot below:

To view the sellers quote navigate to ACCOUNT > MY ACCOUNT > MY REQUESTED QUOTES and then click Answered tab and click VIEW link. A new page will open, here the customer can see the quote given by the seller. The customer can enter a reply and send it to the seller, click SEND MESSAGE button. If the customer approves the seller quoted price and quantity tick the checkbox as shown below:

To view the approved quotes by the customer go to Resolved tab and click VIEW link, a new page will be opened as shown in below screenshot:
